Why share the vision with the team?

Everyone will understand how their work adds up to making this future real. A picture of the future can be used to make choices around what gets you closer to the vision.

There are different ways to share your vision with your team. You could

  • Circulate a poster describing the project

  • Record a video bringing the idea or concept to life

  • Invite them to an informal show and tell

  • Arrange a more formal presentation

A good approach will:

  • Inspire and involve a diverse range of people

  • Make it easy for others to commit

  • Get everyone to believe in the vision

Here are just a few examples of how What Could Be shared a vision of its product to customers, investors, and team members:

A one sentence explanation of the value proposition that people could respond to. Nearly 100% response rate was received since it took less than a minute.

A storyboard that brought the user experience to life as part of a technical explanation for a successful grant application.

A short, two-minute Loom video that brought the product experience to life, which made it easy to send in advance of conversations with partners, lawyers, or even use live during a short meeting to preserve time as a succinct presentation.
